The basic tool to control PWM ESC and servo by Cyphal and DroneCAN interface

  • RaccoonLab MiniNODE is designed for use as an adapter for controlling servos and ESCs with a PWM interface.
  • It receives setpoint messages from the CAN bus (Cyphal or DroneCAN) and maps them into typical servos and ESC controllers' PWM signals.
  • Since it has a built-in DC-DC, you could power a servo through the MiniNODE.
  • The board also supports receiving feedback from the FLAME ESC.
  • Node has two channels (A1 and A2) for direct actuators connection. Depending on the firmware it also has either two auxiliary channels named B1, B2; (experimental) or two auxiliary UART channels for getting feedback from FLAME ESC with RPM and voltage.
  • Node supports both Cyphal and DroneCAN interfaces.
  • Compatible with PX4 and Ardupilot-based autopilots.

Main specifications:
  • dc-dc: yes
  • input voltage: 2S-6S
  • PWM outputs: 4
  • Vin voltage sensor: yes
  • CAN connectors: 2 UCANPHY Micro (JST-GH 4), 2 6-pin Molex
  • LxWxH: 42x27x12 mm
  • Weight: 5 g

Note that RaccoonLab uNODE ships without cables. Please add the necessary cable set to your order manually.

Node has main (receive commands) and auxiliary (status, info, log, flight time recorder, etc) functions. The board has an internal LED indicator of the current status.
